Unlike those caterers, The Chef Arist experience allows unique conversation about food because we prepare and plate it for each person in front of them. Whether hes chopping, sautéing, grilling or baking; guests love to see him creating right before their eyes!
Chef Arist Bishop attended the Culinary Art Institute of Houston. However, his passion, love and deep affection for food & family traditions began when Arist was just a boy. He would spend lots of time with his Papaw in the kitchen at their farm in Buffalo, Tx. It was there that Chef Arist learned a respect and appreciation not only for his Greek roots but a work ethic and respect for others.
His professional career began February of 2006 as a Sous Chef at a local Italian restaurant in Houston. He was then offered a cook job as part of the opening team for hotel Zaza and quickly moved to the Sous chef roll at The Monarch Restaurant. From there he went on to culinary consulting and as a corporate private executive Chef for 8 Years. Arist then went on to become Executive Chef with Flik hospitality, opening the The American Express Centurion lounges and currently is the Director of food and beverage at the Houston Location.
